Meedo's Funky Flat Bread

Recipe by:meedo

Makes 12 Large Flat Bread.


6 cups white flour.
6 cups whole wheat flour.
2 teaspoons sugar.
4 Tablespoons olive oil .
4 1/2 teaspoons yeast.
1 tablespoon salt.
5 1/2 cups water.


1)Preheat the oven to 550 degrees.

2)Place all ingredients in the bowl of mixer ,beat 10 minutes to make a soft dough.

3)Cover and let rise for 60 minutes.

4)Divide dough into 12 pieces.

5)Shape each piece into a ball.

6)Roll each ball into large round.

7)Cut the dough all over with a knife

8)Bake for 2-3 minutes.

All your bread recipes look great!
I have some doubts, hope you could clear it..
I have a big pack of thyme and sage which one friend gifted.Could you pls tell me what is shelf life of both leaves..?(thyme is powdered..)
Actually don't know much more recipes with it, hope I can find it here..

Hi seena,
best way to save your thyme and sage is store them in the freezer.
and you can use thyme to make home made zaatar or spice your Chickens & meat with it .
and you can use it in baking .
try sage in tea .
I hope that help.
