Bsemah (Coconuts Semolina Cake)

3 cups shredded coconut.
1 cup all purpose flour.
3/4 cup semolina.
1 cup sugar.
1 cup fat free milk.
2 Tablespoons butter.
2 eggs.
2 teaspoons baking powder.
1 teaspoon Vanilla.


1)Grease 24 cm, 9 inch pan.

2)Beat sugar and eggs until light and fluffy, add butter, milk, vanilla stir with dry ingredients.

3)Pour mixture into prepared pan.

4)Bake at preheated oven 350 F, for 30 minutes or until it golden brown.

5)Serve with qaimar and honey.

there is difference between Bsemah & besbousa.
besbousa only Content semolina,
but Bsemah made of coconut,flour & semolina.

hi, i tried this cake 2 times. once i followed ur recipe exactly the same way and second time i used sweetened coconut as i found that the firt attempt was not that sweet. although my hubby loved your version. i am posting your recipe on my blog and giving a link back to your!
