Assalamu alaikum,
I am from India sis, but I have not heard of curry powder. We have coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, mango powder, cumin powder etc. Maybe I am just not aware. JazakAllah khair for this recipe. : )

wa alaikum Assalam umm maryam,
it is so weird I always get my curry powder here in Saudi Arabia from indian spice section.
and all of my indian friends use curry powder.
If you can not find it ,use my homemade curry powder mix , it will give you food unusual and unique flavor.
I have Baklava recipe made of fillo pastry and i will post recipe for it soon.
No I'am a proffessional cook,but I cook & bake as far as I can remember.I'm still student.
Thank you so much for all the compliment.
Hello jeena,
Thank you so much.

If I have the white cardomom pods, can I grind them for the cardomom powder?
Should I deseed them or just grind the entire white pods?
Is white or green pods better?
Tks!
Hi J,
In my recipe I always use green cardamom (the whole pods).
White cardamom is green cardamom that has been chemically bleached. Avoid using white pods as bleaching can remove flavor and aroma.
