Lafaef Alqulash beljobin (Qulash Cheese Snails)

Recipe by:zainab






1 packet (625g) fillo pastry.

* milk mixture:
1 cup milk.
1 tablespoon olive oil .

*Filling:
450 g Feta Cheese .
200 g mozzarella Cheese
chopped fresh mint.
chopped fresh coriander.



1)mix the Filling ingredients.




2)Brush 1 sheet with milk mixture,place 1-2 tablespoon of Cheese mixture,roll pastry over filling,using this method here.

3)Brush snails top with milk mixture,repeat with remaining pastry.


4)Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until browned lightly.

5)Serve with my mom potato soup.

that's so funny, i just made the same thing and it's almost exactly the same recipe ;) we call these rodanchas (snails) or as maninas said, bourek (burekas). yours look perfect, as usual!

zainab, we use feta & kashkaval (sheep's milk hard cheese grated) and sometimes mozzarella and a bit of flour. no mint or coriander though in them just salt and pepper and maybe a bit of sugar. it looks almost like the same ingredients you have.
