The grill marks are gorgeous! What does a baking surface mean? I will have to make these soon... does this have to be baked in an oven or can I do this on a stove top irom grill like we do the indian bread? Please do let me know.

Beautiful display of hummus & baba ghanoush.

Soma,
Thanks..when I said hot baking surface I mean anything you use for baking (oven tray, grill pan or whatever you want to use) should be place in the oven when you Preheat it at least 30 or 40 minutes before baking.
I think you can use iron grill (make sure that iron grill is hot then lower the heat to medium when you cook the flat bread.
hope this help :D

Aysegul-Nysdelight,
Thank you for stopping by :)

Dear friends,
This is one site I often stop by to learn new recipes. You are doing a wonderful job. Keep it up.

How disgraceful of those who steal your hardwork and post it on their sites. Thieves are thieves - whether they steal in person or on site. Like you said, "SHAME"

I made these yesterday. Although I am a beginner in bread making I still need more practice to make them look like yours. LOL. The taste was good, especially with the homemade hummus. Your blog is awesome!
